You have the power to heal….
Health and healing is a complex and yet miraculous process. We all have the power to heal, yet most of us have lost our connection to this power. Across the globe, we watch epidemics continue to rise: obesity, infertility, autism, chronic fatigue, depression, eczema, IBS, constipation and more. The World Health Organization reports that these are “lifestyle diseases” that modern medicine has been unable to resolve.

We are seeking answers that go beyond the science of modern medicine.

The ancient healing arts, like Chinese medicine, have existed for thousands of years, successfully enabling people to achieve tremendous wellness. Much of these healing arts are making it into the mainstream as doctors desperately seek ways to heal so-called “incurable” illness.

My mission is to reconnect you with your power to heal, so that you can live the life you truly want to live.

No challenge too great…
So perhaps you’ve tried it all…been to every doctor and health practitioner, tried every pill, supplement and method to feel better. Perhaps you feel like you are at the end of your rope or you don’t know where to turn.

Throughout my career, it is the most challenging health and healing issues that intrigue me the most. Because I know with 100% confidence that anyone and everyone can heal. And so I’ve spent my career focused on the biggest challenges: HIV/AIDS, death and dying, autoimmune disease, autism, Down’s syndrome and other childhood disorders.

A multi-faceted background blends a practical approach with holistic healing…
My earliest memories are of wanting to support people in experiencing the joy of who they really are. With a varied background that lead people to dub me a “Jill of all trades,” I received my Bachelor’s degree in art therapy and moved immediately into working with some of the most challenging cases in health and healing. Learning to write grants, I successfully expanded a program focused on counseling individuals, couples, children and families living with HIV/AIDs.

From there I moved into the nursing home setting, using art therapy to help the residents resolve the fears and related issues of death and dying. The following years brought me into counseling on suicide prevention, battered women and children, and family planning.

I even moved into the business arena and focused on clinic, private practice, and small business management. During this time, I honed my left brain skills for running a business. And more importantly, I realized that my true calling was supporting people on their healing journey.

With that goal in mind, I returned to school and got my degree in Oriental medicine and became a licensed acupuncturist. While many people don’t realize it, acupuncture is a form of energy work that has made it into the mainstream. Accepted by modern medicine, acupuncture has been touted as one of the most effective healing modalities. In my years working with the most challenging health issues, I found acupuncture to be a powerful way to help people heal on all levels: mind, body and spirit.

My clients will tell you that my biggest gift is getting them grounded and bringing the passion back into their lives. What I know is that as you heal, your confidence, energy and joy for life returns. It’s a beautiful process for which I am grateful to play a small role. Because ultimately, you are your greatest healer. Sometimes, we all need a little nudge in the right direction…a clean slate to do your life the way you really want to do it.
